We live in an age of data and statistics. We shouldn’t believe anyone unless they have sufficient evidence to back up their points. If there aren’t any numbers to support statements about business decisions, politics, science or even sport then you are not taken seriously.
Decisions are based on reasons. The extent to which we can be confident in these reasons is vital, and distinguishing reason from faith is crucial for effective and responsible decision making.
